INDO-SRI LANKAN BENEDICTINE INTERRELIGIOUS DIALOGUE

In September 2014 the Indo-Sri Lankan Benedictine Federation (ISBF) sponsored a formation program for 24 novices at Jeevan Jyoti Ashram, Shivpuri, Madhya Pradesh, India. As part of the course, Benedictine Interreligious Dialogue (BID) arranged for the novices, along with their formation directors, to visit a grudwara, a Sikh place of worship, and a Jain temple. Those in charge of these places spoke about Sikh and Jain worship, and Father Ajeesh, president of BID, gave a short presentation on Catholic liturgy.
